Sales Executive
Job description
To generate business for this growing destination. To utilise a range of sales techniques from face to face to telephone to social media and e-contact in order to generate the highest possible levels of income generation. To identify the markets for our wide range of existing and new facilities and directly target these markets. To ensure customer retention through developing genuine proactive relationships with our clients. To be the main point of contact for the entire customer experience from initiating contact, completing the booking to meeting the customer when they arrive and following up to ensure their expectations are exceeded. To motivate and inspire a small multifunctional team of staff to assist with the sales and delivery process. To promote the business, create awareness and generate sales. To achieve and exceed realistic financial targets to ensure continued growth for this important social enterprise. To grow the current levels of earned income across all revenue streams by targeting existing and potential customers. Develop personal relationships with key decision makers across all markets to ensure an increase in awareness of the Colin Glen offering and also our unique selling points. Develop personal relationships with all customers to ensure satisfaction, positive reviews and of course, repeat business. Working in partnership with other managers to ensure all leads are followed up and that all sales opportunities are handled efficiently and effectively to maximise sales. Responsibilities
- To support the Management Team ensuring that the financial performance of the business areas meet their targets and to develop and implement a plan of action to offset any seasonal related short comings.
- To assist with the roll out of existing and new products and services to the various markets.
- To communicate the commercial ethos throughout the organisation.
- To liaise with those involved in marketing to ensure that the campaigns reflect the sales need of the organisation.
- To undertake other duties commensurate with the status of the post as required by the CEO. To ensure social media channels are being used correctly to help enhance sales.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Business to business or business to consumer sales. Highly motivated individual.
- A track record of exceeding targets. Experience in increasing sales from existing and new customers.
Desirable Skills
- A proven track record of achievement in a sales role for either business to business or business to consumer.
- Experience in developing and promoting a business. Experience in marketing and using social media for marketing purposes.
