Junior Buyer
Job description
We are currently seeking a Junior Buyer to join our high performing team. .
Responsibilities
- Receipting dockets on internal system to show material delivered.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve receipting issues within an acceptable timeframe.
- Liaise with applicable teams to help manage the full Procurement process from start to finish
- Compile and issue Technical Submissions.
- Ensure supplier account payments are made within terms.
- Enhance rapport with supply chain and internal colleagues.
- Provide constructive feedback on systems and processes.
- Support other team members with workload where applicable.
- Periodically report to Procurement manager with workload progression updates.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Clear communicator.
- Organised and possess a desire to close-out tasks.
- Willingness to coordinate with other departments to close-out tasks.
- Positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Ability to work independently.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working with ERP systems.
- Previous experience working in any goods receipting environment.
- Understanding of the Purchase Order lifecycle.
