Brickwork Technician
Job description
We are seeking a Brickwork Technician for our client, the main provider of further education across Northern Ireland based in Ballymena.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of area, resources, materials, equipment and/or tools before classes arrive to carry out practical activities.
- Preparation of department for external events.
- Ensure resources, materials, equipment and/or tools are maintained and stored in good working order and reporting of any faults to Assistant Head of Department.
- Assessing the condition of resources, materials, equipment and/or tools with regard to health and safety before further issue.
- General tidying of stores and classroom.
- Regular cleaning of resources, materials, equipment, and/or tools.
- Deep clean of department.
- Dismantle and storage of relevant resources, materials, equipment and/or tools at the end of practical sessions.
- Disposing of used material in a safe and approved manner.
- Rotation and stock control of materials as appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE Maths & English grades A-C (or equivalent).
- Level 3 in Brickwork
- Preferred experience in Brickwork environment.
- The successful candidate will need to be enhanced cleared
