Compliance Officer

The employer is: ENVIROGREEN POLYMERS LTD. Envirogreen Polymers Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic Compliance Officer to join our team. As a business Envirogreen is growing year on year, providing waste and recycling services to businesses all over Ireland. We are especially keen to speak to people with a personal interest in sustainability who is eager to learn more about Recycling and Circular Economy and will develop a passion for the initiatives and innovations we are involved with. Our ideal candidate has an acute attention to detail and self-motivation of ensuring tasks are carried out properly. Responsibilities

  • Ensuring loads collected by Envirogreen have correct duty of cares and information is cross checked and uploaded electronically.
  • Ensuring incoming and outgoing loads by third parties have correct duty of care documentation and quality checks carried out and photographs uploaded electronically.
  • Checking weights of all incoming and outgoing loads are recorded.
  • Provide technical assistance for waste permitting requirements, environmental management systems and projects.
  • Assist in delivering programmes as per integrated management system.
  • Ensuring Staff Induction Forms completed and uploaded electronically.
  • Carry out in-house inspections as per checklist(s) Fire Equipment checks, Fire Alarm checks, Health & Safety, Quality.
  • Assist with internal company training programmes and toolbox talks.
  • Maintaining and issuing of PPE.
  • Provide support to operations and logistics teams.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • BSc degree in a relevant field.
  • Willingness to learn all relevant regulatory and legal frameworks affecting our operations and our clients duty of care.
  • Experience of creating professional working relationships.
  • Good computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 including excel and word.
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in a business environment.
  • Experience of writing reports.
  • Interest in waste and recycling.

Further Information

The employer is: ENVIROGREEN POLYMERS LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
