Job Overview: As part of the support services team, you will ensure any designated areas within the care home are hygienically cleaned to the highest standard at all times, that all housekeeping duties are carried out in an efficient and timely manner and help to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. This may include working in the laundry with its associated duties. Good team working skills are essential. You will be required to take part in any associated training activities in order that you ascertain the skills and knowledge to carry out your role in an effective and safe manner. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by applicant. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • You will be required to take part in any associated training activities in order that you ascertain the skills and knowledge to carry out your role in an effective and safe manner.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working in a care setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
