Job description

We are looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join our team. Assisting the Yard Foreperson to pick orders according to customer requirements in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Yard Foreperson to pick orders according to customer requirements in a timely manner
• Maintaining tidiness and organisation of the yard
• Dealing with customers face to face and building orders
• Loading and unloading of deliveries

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Counter Balance forklift licence
• Experience of working with in a timber or builders merchants
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
