Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist
Job description
The Occupational Therapist will provide Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, treatment and support to clients known to the A&D Adult Learning Disability Team. The Occupational Therapist will have responsibility for developing and organising the service in the delivery of the service to adults with a Learning Disability within the SHSCT A&D locality
Responsibilities
- The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality Occupational Therapy to patients clients in accordance with local and national guidelines and standards of practice.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- BSc Hons or Dip COT in Occupational Therapy Be on the live Health and Care Professions Council HCPC register
Desirable Skills
- Experience of current developments in Learning, Physical and Sensory Disability services Experience of clinical governance and risk management principles and practice
