Job description

Working for a Not for Profit organisation. Range of benefits including Holiday entitlement 39 days each year inclusive of statutory and public holidays rising to 44 days after 10 years service. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
  • Producing general correspondence
  • providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Setting up courses
  • Setting up qualifications
  • Using relevant management information systems/databases and the website
  • Preparing supporting information and marketing materials for qualifications and courses
  • Organise, attend and take minutes for the Business Development team and disseminate minutes as and when required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C to include English Language and Mathematics or above or equivalent vocationally related qualification/s (this may include Level 2 Essential Skills)
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment
  • Experiance of Maintaining databases and spreadsheets, Producing general correspondence, Experience of providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures, Dealing with customer queries
  • The ability to use a wide range of IT packages in a working environment and up to date knowledge of using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word; Excel; Outlook, Internet) along with a working knowledge of using a CRM
  • Strong organisational/administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks with attention to detail in line with required timeframes
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a strong customer awareness and focus
