Responsibilities
- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
- Producing general correspondence
- providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures
- Dealing with customer queries
- Setting up courses
- Setting up qualifications
- Using relevant management information systems/databases and the website
- Preparing supporting information and marketing materials for qualifications and courses
- Organise, attend and take minutes for the Business Development team and disseminate minutes as and when required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C to include English Language and Mathematics or above or equivalent vocationally related qualification/s (this may include Level 2 Essential Skills)
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment
- Experiance of Maintaining databases and spreadsheets, Producing general correspondence, Experience of providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures, Dealing with customer queries
- The ability to use a wide range of IT packages in a working environment and up to date knowledge of using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word; Excel; Outlook, Internet) along with a working knowledge of using a CRM
- Strong organisational/administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks with attention to detail in line with required timeframes
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a strong customer awareness and focus
