Job description

Operational management and ongoing development of the Community Mental Health Team for Older People to ensure that safe and effective care is planned and delivered to service users and carers. Management of a multi-professional team and make the most efficient use of the range of experience and expertise available..

Responsibilities

• Collate an annual Service Plan in collaboration with team members and be accountable for its execution.
• Take overall responsibility for the management, recruitment and induction of staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold a recognised Professional qualification in Social Work and be a Band 6 and have NISCC registration or be eligible for registration or have lodged an application with the NISCC.
• Experience of supervising and/or mentoring staff.
