Job description

Due to expansion of service in the Limavady area, we are now recruiting for community care workers. We have full and part time rotas available - Mornings (07:00 - 14:30), Afternoons (15:00 - 18:30) and Put to Bed rotas (19:00 - 23:00) .

Responsibilities

• Care within the community
• Personal care - washing/showering, oral hygiene, toileting/pad change, dressing/undressing
• Light meal preparation
• Companionship
• General tidy - leave all areas safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Be well organised/professional/caring
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

• Previous paid care within the community
• QCF Level 3 health and social care or above
