Randox Laboratories have an exciting opportunity to join a growing and high-profile area of the business. Would you be interested in joining our growing Value Assignment team which sits within the Serum QC team? This is a permanent position, and we’d love to hear from anyone who feels they could have a positive contribution to this team. The successful Analyst will be involved in a number of day-to-day operations of the Serum Department including value assignment. .

Responsibilities

• Performing various analytical procedures.
• Following quality control procedures.
• The operation of various automated clinical chemistry analysers to generate reliable analytical data.
• Accurate maintenance of Quality Control records.
• The monitoring of vial-to-vial precision.
• Value assignment of manufactured serum products.
• Analysis of External Quality Assessment samples.
• The preparation and processing of analytical data for the production of Serum value sheets.
• The analysis of RIQAS and NEQAS external quality assessment samples
• The troubleshooting of internal and customer queries in conjunction with the Technical Support Department.
• The routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instrument.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualified to at least Bachelor standard in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or Life Science discipline.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess initiative and the ability to work as part of team.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

• Analytical experience.
