Job description

The employer is: ARDS AND NORTH DOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain administrative skills and experience whilst providing support to Community Planning within Ards and North Down Borough Council. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity. .

Responsibilities

  • General administrative assistance.
  • Arranging meetings (both online and in person).
  • Distribute meeting paperwork.
  • Taking minutes at meetings.
  • Data input and database management.
  • Attending in person events.
  • Gathering information from Community Planning Partners.
  • Responding to queries.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Word processing experience.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer care skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working in an office.
  • Minute taking experience.

Further Information

NMW 16-17yrs £4.81, 18-20yrs £6.83, 21-22yrs £8.36, 23-24yrs £9.50. The employer is : ARDS AND NORTH DOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
