Festival Marketing & Business Development Coordinator


Job description

The employer is: PHOTO FESTIVAL BELFAST. Creating and implementing conference sales strategies and business development plans for the online shop. Conducting market research to identify new business development and sales opportunities for the online shop. Developing and delivering a marketing campaign strategy for the online shop. Collaborating with Designers and in house Digital Content Creator to deliver marketing and promotional campaigns for online shop. Assisting in development of shop products. Conducting meetings and appointments with artists and businesses. Assisting with the preparation of presentations to prospective clients. Writing and distributing agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings and pitches. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with businesses, artists and customers via email, phone, and in person to generate sales. .

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining customers and business databases, and mail lists.
  • Providing effective administrative support.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to track success.
  • Reporting on stock and sales targets.
  • Reporting results of sales and online shop business development to management teams.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience researching, developing and delivering strategies.
  • High degree of computer literacy including knowledge of IT software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Software.
  • Ability to sell products and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload and multi-task.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to use common sense and initiative to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt.
  • Understanding of how to generate and analyse reports.
  • Positive can do approach, identifying problems and finding effective solutions.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Enjoy working positively, imaginatively and proactively to meet challenges and achieve results.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Knowledge of online website design platforms such as Squarespace.

Further Information

The employer is: PHOTO FESTIVAL BELFAST. Salary: 16-17yrs £4.81, 18-20yrs £6.83, 21-22yrs £8.36, 23-24yrs £9.50. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
