Financial Services Analyst (with FinTrU Accelerate Development Programme)

We currently have opportunities within our Belfast and Derry/Londonderry Offices for Analysts with a minimum 12 months experience working in a banking or regulated financial services environment. This includes but is not limited to experience as a financial services or banking customer adviser or contact centre operative/agent with experience working for banks, insurance, investment, and credit companies. You will join as part of FinTrU’s Accelerate Development Programme on 4th July 2022 and will be receive comprehensive training over 4-6 weeks to help you make the step from your current role into an exciting Analyst role for our investment bank clients in one of FinTrU’s business areas: KYC, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk & Controls. Responsibilities

  • Interacting with Institutional and Corporate clients daily to gather all regulatory information and mandatory documentation to successfully complete tasks.
  • Interpreting and implementing regulation driven policies to mitigate potential risks on behalf of a range of Investment Banks.
  • Performing detailed diligence reviews, utilising a range of trusted industry sources.
  • Building and maintaining a strong, effective relationship with our clients.
  • Working collaboratively in a team to carry out work to the highest standard.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience working within a structured, project-driven role following a complex process guide or manual.
  • Proven experience in undertaking direct client facing engagement and outreach activity.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working in a banking or regulated financial services environment.
  • Minimum of 96 UCAS points under the 2017 tariff point system (e.g., CCC at A Level) or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3)
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs A-C

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of the financial services industry and regulations
  • Working knowledge of KYC and AML regulations

Work time, Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30. Please note that these roles are based permanently in Northern Ireland. We are not in a position to offer these as permanently remote positions at this time.
