Job description

In order to meet the overall mission of the Trust the post holder will work autonomously within local guidelines and the midwifery sphere of practice as outlined by the NMC to achieve person centered care. Responsibilities

• Deliver and promote evidence based practice and agreed care pathways.
• Comply with nursing strategy, trust policies, procedures, guidelines, protocols and codes of conduct.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered with or eligible for registration in the next 9 months on part 1 (Branch - Midwifery) of the NMC register
• Degree, diploma or other nursing/midwifery qualification allowing registration with NMC

Further Information

Work time shift work including evenings/weekends.
