Office Administrator - Production
Job description
We grow, market and distribute top quality mushrooms each week throughout N. Ireland and the rest of the UK. Due to continuous growth we are now seeking an experienced Production Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team. .
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain computerised records
- Obtain customer orders
- General correspondence with customers and suppliers
- Check and provide the despatch department with all paperwork
- Check deliveries received correspond with purchase orders
- Stock control of all produce coming in and out
- Prepare and distribute invoices, remittances and credit notes
- Managing customer expectations and complaints
- Produce weekly MS Excel reports
- Ensure all telephone calls are answered and transferred through to the appropriate personnel or messages taken and forwarded on
- General administrative duties as required within the office
- Filing
- Carrying out requests from management as needed
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 2 years of relative experience. (Experience in a production/procurement environment will be advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel & MS Outlook
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a small office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality
- Must be proficient in handling office equipment including telephones, printers, photocopy machines, etc.
- Dependable and punctual
