Purchase Ledger Clerk


Job description

Due to expansion a new role has been created for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join this busy accounts and finance department. .

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring invoices match purchase order numbers and chasing any that are missing
  • The Purchase Ledger Clerk will report to the Finance Manager and assist the finance teams.
  • Receiving, opening, logging & processing invoices.
  • Inputting and updating invoices and Processing high volumes of supplier invoices.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience within a transactional finance position such as accounts payable or purchase ledger is highly desirable

Desirable Skills

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software e.g., SAGE
