Housekeeper/Waiting Staff required..

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing the guest house including rooms and all public areas as directed by the Manager.
• Complete tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Ironing using a roller press, plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
• Breakfast serving duties include meeting & greeting guests in the dining room.
• Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the dining room neat and tidy.
• Present menus, take orders and prepare and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous Housekeeping or Care Home cleaning experience required.
• Previous kitchen/restaurant waiting experience required for serving breakfast.
• Must be flexible, reliable and able to work without supervision.
• High cleaning standards are essential as well as good customer service skills.
• Must work well under pressure and be an excellent team player.

Further Information

Work time is 8:00am - 12:30pm weekends. Extra hours are available midweek if desired.
