Payroll and HR Co-ordinator..

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the HR Time & Attendance system, ensuring all information on the system is accurate and correct.
  • Prepare the weekly time & attendance agency reports and Analyse/Report on key HR metrics
  • Deal with day-to-day payroll queries from employees and management including those related to legislation.
  • Point of contact on pension and other benefits.
  • Support recruitment process and new start administration as well as updating and delivering HR Induction.
  • Assist with the coordination of agency requests, tracking new starts/leavers/absence/security etc.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining individuals personal files ensuring all legally required information is recorded and retained.
  • Assist in the development of HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist with the coordination of administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
  • Assist line managers in addressing individual and organisational effectiveness issues including performance management and dispute resolution.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience organising staffing levels and perform daily team meetings
  • Educated to A level or above or with clear proven experience.
  • Experience in payroll software packages, preferably Sage Payroll
  • Ability to understand and manage shift patterns.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Understanding of various human resources policies and procedures and regulations.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to work well with stakeholders across all verticals of the organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Competent knowledge of employment legislation
  • Previous work experience in an Engineering Manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years payroll administration experience within an HR office, providing generalist support.
