Job description

The Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring all remedial maintenance work is carried out within the Homes, including health and safety and caretaker tasks. The Maintenance Person will liaise with the Manager and Company Directors on preventative, remedial and planned maintenance within our homes, ensuring that a good standard of service is given to residents and members of the public. .

Responsibilities

• Attend to all remedial maintenance work as discussed with the Manager or Company Directors
• Property inspections, identifying any issues, repairs, advisory works, or recommendations for the general upkeep of the property
• Unblocking of drains when required
• Assist with rubbish removal
• Moving furniture and equipment around the building or properties
• To respond to any emergency callout
• External maintenance and caretaking, such as cutting grass, painting fence panels, leaf blowing, power hosing and clearing gutters

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous maintenance experience is essential
