Job description

The delivery of the Youth Engagement Plus programme, including the delivery of the agreed action plan, sourcing of programme funding, line management of appropriate volunteers (and staff when applicable) and the implementation of ISYCA’s policies. .

Responsibilities

• To identify, prioritise and deliver a programme of youth work activities based on need in the Irish Street area

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Northern Ireland Youth Service Youth Support Worker Qualification OR
• OCN Level 3 Introduction to Youth Work and Programme Development OR
• An equivalent Youth Work Qualification or higher
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a youth setting

Desirable Skills

• A working knowledge of the needs of young people including the social and economic needs of all the areas involved in the project
