Apprentice Studio Digital Print Operator
Job description
By the completion of the apprenticeship you will have gained an understanding of the different methods to deliver print images/files to different print disciplines in use. This will include colour theory, receiving, checking and processing digital files, creating imposition schemes and job layouts and producing a digital ‘proof’, among other tasks. You will learn to manage digital colour reproduction from creation to output. You will also be required to produce reports and relevant paperwork. Full training is provided on-site and GQA Qualifications at levels 2, 3 and 4 in printing/pre-press will be delivered in the workplace over 3 years as part of our training scheme.
