Job description

To encourage the use of Irish in both speech and written format within the Mid Ulster District Council area. To provide a range of initiatives to promote understanding of the Irish Language across the Mid Ulster District Council area. To maintain and develop links between groups using Irish and with other groups using Irish and / or Ulster Scots. Please see employer website for full details..

Responsibilities

• To encourage the use of Irish in both speech and written format within the Mid Ulster District Council area
• To research, develop and implement action plans

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 3rd level qualification (HNC/D or higher) in a relevant discipline including Irish Language Studies
