Development Officer
Job description
This is an important post within the Development Directorate and the post-holder will be expected to work with each of the four Directorates within the Agency. As a member of the middle management team, the post-holder will assist the Development Manager in undertaking research and delivering development initiatives within the Foyle and Carlingford areas in accordance with the Loughs Agency Corporate and Business Plans. The post-holder will assist the Development Manager and Director of Development by contributing towards the development and implementation of evidence based, location and sector based development strategies, underpinned by relevant research. .
Responsibilities
- Delivery of development programmes as part of the development team.
- Provide regular analysis and reporting of development activity.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A third level (degree or equivalent) qualification in a relevant subject. This could include any of the following: Business, Rural Development, Geography or Environmental Science.
