Organisational Development & Learning Partner
Job description
Contributing to the successful delivery of OD & Learning function to build the capacity of leaders and line managers and the wider workforce. The post holders will lead on specific areas of the OD strategy in line with organisational priorities, e.g. Leadership & Management Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and Coaching. The post holders will have responsibility for developing and managing large scale, diverse and complex OD initiatives and projects, supporting business cases to secure investment and funding and for delivering OD Services as part of a wider annual HR budget of circa £10.5 million..
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of people and organisational development strategies and the management of projects facilitating transformational change in support of the strategic plan, vision, mission and values.
- Advise members of the senior management team and line managers on OD & Learning practice, policy and application which support our strategic vision and a value based culture of customer focused, effective and cross functional team working.
- Facilitate and manage the OD & Learning Champions and other working groups and forums.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Hold a Bachelors Degree
- Have a minimum of five years experience of working as a HR, OD or L&D professional
- Have experience of providing support and advice to senior management on organisational change and developing organisational culture and successfully leading programmes to deliver associated outcomes
- Have experience of leading the development, implementation and evaluation of employee engagement strategies, performance management initiatives and/or leadership competency and behaviour frameworks
Desirable Skills
- Professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development at Chartered Member level or above.
- Hold a recognised coaching qualification and/or be qualified as a psychometric practitioner.
