Job description

We require a fully qualified hairdresser with at least National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 or equivalent. A strong technical knowledge is required; however ongoing specialised training will be provided to expand knowledge and skills of new trends and styles. .

Responsibilities

• Hairdressing duties will include advanced cutting techniques, all aspects of colouring to include foiling, ombre, colour correction, bleaching, tinting, blow-drying, curly blow-drying, curling, perming, up styling, gents cutting and styling, etc.
• The stylist will also be required to perform housekeeping and reception duties which includes answering the phone, scheduling appointments and stock ordering to assist the smooth running, and cleanliness of the salon.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and previous recent experience working in a salon is essential, with experience of maintaining a daily column with a return clientele.

Work time, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Thursday 9.30am - 8pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm.
