Senior Information Analyst


Job description

The post-holder will play a key role within the Information Services Department by ensuring the accessibility of reliable, up-to-date information through an Information Portal, Trust Intranet or other appropriate tools. The post holder will also work support the Information Team Leaders in the provision of quality information to a range of users and the provision of specialist advice in the use of information and information systems and in the extraction, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. Responsibilities

  • To improve data collation and reporting methods considering the use of new technologies in particular to improve accessibility of information by other Directorates
  • To develop the skills of staff within the information department and other Directorates by providing support and training on information analysis tools and techniques

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Degree in an ICT Discipline, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of Information or ICT
  • GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics at Grade C or above
