Job description
Working alongside JJ Loughran Sales, Service & Repair teams to deliver industrial electrical sales, servicing and repairs. Assisting customers with the design and specification of Electric Motors, Gearboxes, Variable Speed Drives, Controls, Pumps and Ventilation Equipment and as a result making sales of these items and hitting sales targets. .
Responsibilities
- Answering customer queries on technical issues
- Liaising with the customer in selecting the correct item of equipment for their application
- As a result of agreed specification of products, getting sales for these
- Develop business opportunities by arranging meetings and making sales pitches.
- Working with potential new and long term pitches
- Working as a part of a sales team contributing to the design and makeup of our product stock profile to maximise stock rotation and to minimise customer lead times
- To offer our customers an unrivalled sales and repair services
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Successful completion of a MEng/BEng/BSc/HNC/HND postgraduate qualification in either Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- (continued from above) Renewable Energy Engineering, Building Services, Marketing, Business, Business Development, including pathways combining versions of some of these degrees
- Candidates should have a driving license and possess a willingness to learn and develop their sales engineering skills in a fast-paced engineering company at the forefront of our field
Desirable Skills
- 1 year completion of placement year in similar field
- Willing to develop and learn new skills with on and off the job training
