Job description
The financial administrator contributes to the overall accounts of La Dolce Vita Project by providing skills in accounts, payroll and financial reports to include Cash Flow Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Petty Cash and Invoice Ledger, Balance Sheet. You will be asked to report to the Director of Services and Treasurer of the Board of Directors..
Responsibilities
- Produce regular financial monitoring reports for meetings
- Provide financial data for grant returns i.e. end of grant evaluation reports
- Assisting the Director of Services to prepare and complete grant applications along with all financial information required for funding applications to local authority and other funding bodies
- Complete financial monitoring reports and ongoing funding
- Monitor bank accounts regularly and reconcile statements
- Regularly update Cash-Flow statements and Balance Sheet
- Deal with routine correspondence and form filling
- Prepare money for banking in the Director of Services absence
- Be aware of bank requirements, signatories, passwords etc
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available for cash needs
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE Maths
- GCSE English
- Book-keeping qualification or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a financial setting
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of voluntary and charity sector
