HR Officer

Job description

As HR Officer, you will report directly to the HR Manager and play a key role within the HR team..


  • Managing the recruitment process for various positions across the business
  • Assist with on-boarding of new employees,
  • Review policies and procedures in line with legislative changes
  • Provide practical 'hand on' HR Support to managers on employment issues
  • Plan and deliver training
  • Monitor and report on attendance
  • Deal with all employee HR related queries
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports and general HR Administration duties

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Be educated to degree standard in HR / Business related discipline
  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience in the areas outlined above
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the business
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use as occasional travel may be required to various UK offices and depots.

Further Information

Work time: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
