Receptionist/Office Administrator
Job description
For over 45 years, Devlin Mechanical Ltd have been developing our knowledge and expertise in the mechanical services sector. Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist/office administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, professional individual who works well within a team environment. .
Responsibilities
- Answering and directing telephone calls ensuring messages are processed and other enquiries are dealt with in the appropriate manner
- Filing
- Ordering and maintaining stationary stock
- Keep up-to-date and accurate records of financial transactions
- Processing purchase invoices on Sage
- Scanning invoices
- Processing parts returns
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and provide help and support to other team members
- Other administration duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GSCE in Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent
- Experience of working in a busy office
- Effective written and communication skills
- Competent in the use of IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good organisational skills
Desirable Skills
- Accounts experience is desirable but not essential
