Administrative Assistant
Job description
We are seeking an individual to take on this varied role within the company. The Administrative Assistant will be at the core of the company's activities, assisting various departments with their administrative needs. Duties will include: Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries from suppliers and customers; Handling and distributing post; Sales order entry; Contacting suppliers for order updates; Data entry onto accounting and CRM systems as well as Microsoft Excel; Record keeping and handling of promotional goods; Stationery and consumable ordering; Filing, scanning and photocopying; Assisting other departments with their administrative needs. .

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years experience in a similar administrative role
- GSCE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Excellent telephone manner
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
Desirable Skills
- Qualification in Administrative/IT subjects such as Sage, Microsoft Office, Word Processing, Edexcel
Further Information
Work time: 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-3pm Fri. Entry into the company's health care plan following 6 months service.
