Welder
Job description
Develop welding projects by analysing work orders, prints and completed assembly. Calculate requirements, study metals, and determine appropriate welding techniques. Read and clearly understand engineering drawings. .
Responsibilities

- Fulfil the legal Health and Safety duties placed on employees
- Comply with the companies policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training
- Ensure internal customers are supplied with all products needed ie paint and fitting
- Cutting lists from saws
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all tools
- Weld parts to correct specification and quality standards using relevant specification and Bills of Materials.
- Support and assist in solutions to overcome problems in welding.
- Meet set targets.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 2 years experience in welding with MIG
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
