HR and OD Manager.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the development and day to day management of all aspects of Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD), aligned to the corporate plan
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Be a current Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD or above)
- A minimum of three years taking the lead in the management of a HR function/department or service area
- A minimum of three years supporting and advising senior managers on strategic and operational HR issues within a multi-disciplinary and unionised organisation
- A minimum of three years taking the lead in the people management aspects of organisational change and managing the employee relations implications
- A minimum of three years responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of HR policies and strategies which are aligned to corporate priorities and in accordance with legislation and best practice
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Available to travel and attend evening and other meetings outside of office hours as required
- Hold a full valid driving licence and have access to transport to meet the requirements of the post OR have access to transport to meet the requirements of the post
