Job description

£20.00 per hour session. Casual As and when required - Successful candidates will be required to work Monday to Sunday, evenings and public holidays as dictated by the needs of the service. As and when required, immediate start Public Sector Locations: Ballymena, Larne & Carrickfergus

Responsibilities

• Teach, assess and coach leisure centres swimming programme, special needs groups and any other groups as required.
• Ensure the efficient and effective operation of sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans that meet the needs of the requirements of the ASA Learn to Swim Framework.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Recognised Swimming Teachers Full qualification (ASA, STA, SWIM IRELAND) i.e. STA Certificate, Swim Ireland Level 2, ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
• 1 years' teaching Swimming experience.
• Must have and maintain a sufficient level of fitness
• Flexibility will be required on working hours to include evenings and weekends.
