We are currently recruiting for a staff nurse for DAY SHIFT - Full time or Part Time. Since opening in 1987, Hamilton Private Nursing Home has acquired an unrivalled reputation for the excellence of its nursing care and the warmth & homeliness of the atmosphere. It is a 36 bedded nursing home registered for general nursing care. .

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Administer medication.
• Liaison with care staff and clients' families.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NMC registration
• Prior experience as a registered nurse
• Good organisational skills with the ability to lead a team and delegate effectively.
• Basic IT skills to maintain Care Records and Medication records on a computer system.
• Adherence to the NMC Codes of Conduct, delivering and promoting patient centered care.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Prior experience in a nursing home setting
