We are looking for an experienced parts advisor who wishes to work in a business with flexible hours and have opportunities to progress. The ideal candidate will have a chance to learn new, and enhance their, IT skills as well as serve customers, share ideas and assist with knowledge and information, liaise with suppliers and source parts/items requested and assist with recommendations for social media and advertising. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor seeking to progress within a forward thinking company who invest in their employees. This is a flexible position and the correct candidate will be awarded with additional benefits and commission where applicable..

Responsibilities

• To maximise sales through positive customer service
• To serve customers with care and with efficiency
• Ensure all ordered parts are supplied, despatched and invoiced correctly
• To work within a team and liaise with other staff members where necessary
• Advise customers on parts
• Locate items that may not be in stock and contact suppliers where necessary
• To make up customer orders and notify customer when order is ready to be collected.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a broad knowledge of vehicle parts for HGVs
• Computer literate: Excel, sending and receiving emails, willing to learn how to use new computer systems.
• Working knowledge of using administrative systems
• Experience in working in a busy environment with good written and oral communications skills

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in an automotive sales environment or 1 year minimum experience in working in a similar role.

Further Information

Work time: 10am-5pm Monday to Friday & 9am-1pm Saturday
