As part of our continued growth we are seeking to hire a Store Manager to join our Newcastle team, as store manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the business & working with the area managers to ensure the continued success of the Around a Pound group..

Responsibilities

• Driving sales in our store.
• Ensuring merchandising is of a high standard including planning store layout with Area Manager.
• Managing rotas and wage budgets, managing staff holidays, and ensuring appropriate cover is in place.
• Ensuring customer queries are appropriately dealt with.
• Liaising with our warehouse team to organise deliveries to store.
• Ensuring daily cashing up process is correct.
• Ordering stocks from certain suppliers.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 years experience in a Retail/Store Manager Position.
• Great communication/customer service skills.
• Deals with challenges proactively with a positive attitude.
• People management skills.
