Corporate Governance Officer
Job description
You will provide a professional and confidential service to the Executive Team and the Board in all their functions. .
Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance & Corporate Services Director in the oversight of the Company Secretarial function ensuring the smooth running of the Board and its' Committees
- Build and maintain relationships with the board, acting as the primary board interface for the arrangement of all meetings and events and the handling of all Board member queries
- Provide a comprehensive Board Secretariat function including the preparation, editing, organisation and uploading of Board and Committee papers for all meetings and the taking and circulating of professional minutes of all meetings
- Responsible for the set-up of meetings, IT access levels and ensuring all Board documentation is uploaded to the platform accurately and in a timely manner
- Scheduling and booking meetings, travel, and accommodation;
- Front of house duties and general office/administrative support including diary management
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- You will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role with expertise in minute taking.
- You will be educated to degree level standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Business or Law.
- You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Calendar).
- It is important that you can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
