Receptionist
Job description
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the business. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. The Ideal Candidate will be friendly, outgoing and well presented, be organised with a high attention to detail, be articulate and a good communicator, have a proactive attitude when dealing with new & unknown tasks..
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage all incoming calls; answering calls promptly, politely and transferring accurately or taking messages
- Greeting visitors in a warm, friendly manner and ensure they are attended to
- Handle customer complaints courteously and ensure they are passed on as appropriate
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
- Handling deliveries
- Sorting the post
- Ordering Stationery
- Assist any departments with ad hoc duties as and when required
- Diary Management for the Directors
- Respond to letters, emails and general correspondence as required by the Directors
- General admin support such as filing, updating documents and other administrative tasks for the Sales Team
- Assist in making travel arrangements for the Directors & Management
- Scan and upload files to dedicated Cloud Space
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without any restrictions
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a similar role would be helpful though not required
