Job description
IT Helpdesk Technician (Level 1) Legion is the local leading Tech Support, Cyber Security and Compliance Solutions and Service provider. We are currently launching new products and our rapid expansion plan necessitates the immediate requirement for an outgoing, pleasant, organised, fast learning Tech Support guru. You will need experience in supporting Site Networks, Windows environments and Microsoft 365. Training will be provided for all other systems we support. The successful candidate will support over 300 users in their day-to-day computing tasks as well as perform maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of Servers Desktops, Printers, Routers, Switches, Firewall, Wifi systems and many more. Our passion to be the best at what we do drives us daily and we need a candidate who can demonstrate the same. This is a one-off opportunity to get into a rapidly expanding company at the beginning and you will be known as the voice of our helpdesk. .
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with helpdesk requests by phone, email, online helpdesk and chatbot
- Repairing problems raised by automated alerts
- Liaising closely with our Security Operations Team
- Assisting the Technical Alignment Manager with new system builds
- Performing network maintenance tasks
- Repairing a plethora of IT devices
- Learning our technologies and systems
- Educating yourself
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Organisation skills
Desirable Skills
- University Qualification in IT or equivalent
- Microsoft Certification or equivalent
- One year in a similar role
