Job description

General Medical Practitioner. We are seeking a full time (8 sessions) Salaried GP with a view to partnership (either one individual or more than one part-time) as replacement for one of our GPs. We have been granted our application to become a licensed sponsor under the Skilled Worker immigration route, and have been given an A rating, by the Home Office and welcome applications from those who require a Health Care Worker Visa. We are progressive and have a full practice team involved in innovative service delivery projects, including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Community Paramedic. The practice is based in a small town, close to both the Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Centre and the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen. We look after 6900 patients in the town and surrounding area, achieving high QOF points and Enhanced Services, using EMIS web and enhanced triage. The area offers a wide range of leisure facilities, including outdoor pursuits, music and water-sports with close access to excellent primary and secondary level schools. A new medical school has recently opened in the neighbouring county of Derry/Londonderry, at Magee University. Outside practice work opportunities are available. .

Responsibilities

• General Medical Practitioner providing GMS and Enhanced Services.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a Primary Medical Degree.
• Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
• Be on the GMC GP Register with a license to practice.
• Be registered or eligible to be registered on the Northern Ireland Primary Medical Performers List.
