Would you like to work in our Garden Centre at Galgorm Castle, Ballymena? We are looking for someone with excellent people skills who will be able to deliver a high standard of service to our customers. .

Responsibilities

• Giving customers advice and guidance on products we sell. This can range from outdoor furniture, BBQs, Christmas trees & lights, garden care and wild bird care (full training will be given).
• Ensuring the shop floor is clean and presentable at all times, checking off orders, putting out stock and working on displays.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Retail experience in a similar environment will be an advantage.
• An interest in gardening would be ideal as would good computer skills.
• This person must be able to work well within a team, possess initiative to work on their own and be friendly and enthusiastic.

Desirable Skills

• Forklift and driving experience would be useful but not essential.

Further Information

Starting rate of pay will be £9.50 per hour rising to £10.42 in April 2023. This position offers approximately 28 hours per week. Days of work will be: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
