The company believes in its people and strives to provide excellent and reliable service to its customers. We wish to recruit a Group Credit Control Manager for our Head Office in Newry. This unique role is suitable for an ambitious and determined individual who wants to progress their career to the next stage within one of the UK and Ireland’s leading independent merchants..

Responsibilities

• Management of credit control function for a group with turnover just below 180m Pound
• Maintaining and reviewing the accounts receivable ledger across several divisions
• Establishing terms of credit for existing and new customers
• Management of key accounts including coordination of query resolution
• Management of the relationship with legal advisors and any ongoing debt disputes
• Preparation and presentation of reports to management

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A proven track record of credit control experience
• Excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills and experience in presenting to management teams
• Ability to develop relationships across departments and multi-sites
• Experience in managing a team (desirably in a multi-site environment)
• Self-motivated and strong work ethic with an eye for detail

Desirable Skills

• Third level education in a related field
• Experience presenting to Board level

Work time: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-4pm
