Job description

The Caretaker will maintain the highest levels of cleanliness at our schemes will be responsible for the cleaning of all communal areas in the buildings and to act in a neighbourly fashion to tenants of the scheme and their visitors. This role will be based at Lisburn schemes which comprises a mixture of apartments and houses Ayrshire, Sloan Street and Market Square..

Responsibilities

• Follow weekly cleaning/duty rota.
• Waste bins to be emptied regularly and all bins should be put out ready for collection on a weekly basis. These bins should also be brought back in after immediately after collection.
• Highlight any maintenance requirements to the Housing Officer.
• Carry out weekly fire alarm test and record details in logbook.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months previous experience working in a similar role as Caretaker or Domestic Assistant in a paid or voluntary working environment.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of COSHH
