A bit about the role Slemish Court is an independent living scheme with 35 apartments and one house. As a Domestic Assistant will be responsible for the cleaning of all communal areas in the apartment buildings and to act in a neighbourly and friendly fashion to tenants if the scheme and their visitors. You’ll have at least 6 months previous experience working as a Cleaner/ Domestic Assistant in a paid or voluntary working environment. Responsibilities

• Follow the weekly cleaning rota.
• General cleaning duties of all communal areas in the scheme.
• Regularly empty waste bins and have the bins out ready for collection.
• Carryout weekly fire alarm checks.
• Cover duties of other caretakers or domestics in neighbouring schemes when required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months previous experience working in a similar role.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car for business use.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of COSHH.
