Job description

As Programme Coordinator you will manage a team of paid staff and volunteers based from our Northside Shopping Centre Thrift shop. The shop is the face of Liberty Consortium on the high street and will act as a hub in the local community. You will ensure that the volunteer team are trained in all areas, with an understanding that our young people are key to your success. Full job description can be requested via email..

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the SMT to deliver Libertys strategic aims and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational project work, working collaboratively with other areas of Liberty Consortium for programming/events.
  • Supports the induction, training, experience & progression of all Ready Steady Go volunteers.
  • Shop supervision as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Educated to A level or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years paid programme coordinating within a similar field.
  • Experience of working with young people with additional needs.
  • Full Person Specification available on request.

Desirable Skills

  • Degree standard.
  • Training, Youth Work &/or Assessment qualification.
  • Specific qualifications / courses relating to learning disability or autism.
  • Full Person Specification available on request.
