Job description

Farrans Construction and Sacyr have formed a joint venture, Farrans Sacyr to deliver Belfast Grand Central Station Main Works Contract. The successful candidate will assist the site team and help to maintain the smooth running of the administration function and be the main point of contact for interacting with key stakeholders..

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders such as the project team, clients and customers in a professional and friendly manner via email and face to face communication.
  • Main point of contact for visitors on site and responsible for the monitoring of and ensuring the correct PPE is distributed before accessing site.
  • Carry out general office duties including photocopying, distributing documents, distributing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries as required.
  • Responsible for management of petty cash.
  • Diary management - organise and book meeting rooms.
  • Manage stock levels and order office supplies, PPE equipment, printer consumables, welfare/cleaning supplies for the site.
  • Responsible for scheduling meetings; attending and recording meeting minutes to be distributed in a timely manner.
  • Manage delivery dockets / notes / LPOs and official purchase orders.
  • Keep project contact details up to date.
  • Assisting with paperwork in preparation of site inductions held daily for new starts on site.
  • Assisting with Msite Access Registration on site ensuring register updated daily.
  • Responsible for submitting weekly timesheets.
  • Comply with the organisation's health and safety policy.
  • Any other duties as required by site management.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
  • Ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks
  • Display a can do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Desirable Skills

  • Previous administration experience

It will provide greater capacity with an increase to 26 bus stands, 8 railway platforms, enhanced walking and cycling connectivity, greater comfort and accessibility encouraging greener, active travel for a healthier, smarter city.  The Weavers Cross development delivered as part of the project will regenerate the lands around the transport hub and facilitate economic growth and urban regeneration. The successful candidate will be provided with full training and support from the Administration Support Manager.
