Clerical Officer (Receptionist).

Responsibilities

  • Good time keeping. Excellent attention to detail. Accurate record keeping. Working was a first contact person between the public and the practice.
  • Reception duties.
  • Dealing with appointments.
  • Answering telephones.
  • Handling incoming & outgoing correspondence.
  • Typing, data processing and general office tasks.
  • Accurate record keeping.
  • Working was a first contact person between the public and the practice.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent to grade C or above (including English Language and Mathematics).
  • Good time keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, MS Word, Excel and use of WEB-based search systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Worked as a member of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working as a clerical officer in a NHS GP Practice.

Work time: 08:30-18:00 Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri - 08:30-13:00 Thur. CV can be posted to the practice or left in at the practice front desk if email is not possible. Salary may be reviewed subject to the previously acquired relevant capabilities and experience.
