Job description

To carry out routine maintenance and repair on a range of plant, machinery and commercial vehicles, including machinery, vans and HGVs. .

Responsibilities

• To carry out routine maintenance and repair on a range of plant, machinery and commercial vehicles, including machinery, vans and HGVs
• Turnaround machines / vehicles quickly while ensuring they are fit for service
• Diagnose and rectify faults
• Carry out routine vehicle / equipment inspections
• Prepare vehicles for PSV and MOT

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 in Plant mechanics

Desirable Skills

• A full Driving licence. Experience in working with the equipment listed above would be an advantage.
• Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems would be a distinct advantage.
• Candidates should be self-motivated and work to a safe & high standard.

Work time: 7.30am - 5pm, days to be confirmed.
